Text message opt-in
Use this form to choose the optional text messages you want to receive from Buzzmax. Nothing is selected for you. You can choose any, all or none of the boxes, and you need to choose at least one to submit. Submitting this form does not send you a text.
- Who sends the messages: Buzzmax, operated by JMatsu Holdings LLC. Each message names the business it is about. 1018 N 985 W, Orem, UT 84057. Phone (434) 204-8956. Email team@buzzmax.ai.
- What you can opt in to: appointment confirmations and reminders, invoice due-date reminders and payment receipts, service visit updates, and customer service texts (a review request after your visit, and a reply if your call is missed, with a booking link). Each is described in section 2.
- Programs: Buzzmax Appointment Reminders, Buzzmax Invoice Reminders, Buzzmax Job Status Updates, Buzzmax Review Requests and Buzzmax Missed-Call Reply. This form does not apply to Buzzmax Messaging.
- Message frequency varies with your appointments, invoices and visits.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, at any time.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Your number and your consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing.
Your consent applies only to Buzzmax's own messaging program operated by JMatsu Holdings LLC; we do not collect consent for affiliates, other companies, or marketing.
SMS Terms
These are the Buzzmax SMS Terms. They apply to every text message program listed below. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by program. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Your consent applies only to Buzzmax's own messaging program operated by JMatsu Holdings LLC; we do not collect consent for affiliates, other companies, or marketing.
1. Program name and operator
The programs described here are Buzzmax Review Requests, Buzzmax Missed-Call Reply, Buzzmax Appointment Reminders, Buzzmax Invoice Reminders, Buzzmax Job Status Updates and Buzzmax Messaging. All of them are Buzzmax's own messaging programs, operated by JMatsu Holdings LLC. Every message in every program names the business it is about: the business whose appointment, invoice, visit or review the text concerns.
Texts in every program are sent by Buzzmax (JMatsu Holdings LLC) from Buzzmax's registered messaging program, and each one names the business it is about.
2. What each program sends
Buzzmax Review Requests. After you do business with a company, you may receive one text inviting you to leave a public review. Every customer receives the same message and the same link, whatever we expect them to say. We do not screen, filter, or route customers based on how they are likely to rate the business. Buzzmax does not send a reminder after this message.
Buzzmax Missed-Call Reply. If you call a business and nobody answers, you may receive one text saying so, with a way to book or to reply. It is sent only to the number that placed the call, and only after a call that was not answered.
Customer service texts and booking links. This choice on the form covers Buzzmax Review Requests (one text after you do business with the business) and Buzzmax Missed-Call Reply (at most one text per six hours after a call you placed went unanswered), each with a link to leave a review (review request) or to book (missed-call reply), where relevant.
Buzzmax Appointment Reminders. If you opt in on the form above, or in writing with the business as described in section 2a, you may receive appointment confirmation and reminder texts for appointments you have booked with the business. Buzzmax sends them and each names the business.
Buzzmax Invoice Reminders. If you opt in, you may receive two kinds of text, and only these two: a reminder before an invoice from the business is due, and a receipt when a payment is received. Each names the business and the invoice. These texts remind and confirm. The reminder is sent before the due date, not after, and neither text carries marketing. You receive at most one reminder before an invoice is due, never more than one payment reminder in 7 days, and one receipt per payment.
Buzzmax Job Status Updates. If you opt in, you may receive service visit updates about a visit you booked: that the technician is on the way, that they are running late, or that the visit is complete. Each names the business.
Buzzmax Messaging. Available to businesses on an Enterprise plan. It is separate from the opt-in form above and is a reply service, not a broadcast one: it sends a reply only after you have texted first, for example in response to a review request or a missed-call reply. You do not opt in separately; texting first is what opens the conversation. Replies are sent between 9am and 8pm in your own local time and stop if you go too long without texting back. Until its carrier registration is approved (10 to 15 business days is typical), or if you have not texted first, it cannot send you a Messaging reply.
2a. How you give consent
For the optional appointment, invoice and service visit texts, you opt in to each type separately. Nothing is assumed from a booking, a payment or a signature on a work order. (A missed-call reply is sent only to the number that called, once, after a call went unanswered. Review requests are described in section 2.) You can give consent in these ways, and a record is kept of when and how you did:
- On this page. Tick the box for each type of text you want and submit the form above. No box is ticked for you.
- In writing, on a form that names Buzzmax. Either an unchecked box on a booking or payment form, or a separate unchecked box on a work order or invoice that you tick separately from signing anything. The box names Buzzmax and the type of text, and it is optional. Someone telling Buzzmax you agreed is not enough.
Invoice due-date reminders and payment receipts. Only if you agree to that type. You receive a reminder before an invoice from the business is due, and a receipt after you pay it. Each names the business and the invoice. These texts remind and confirm. They are sent before the due date, not after, and they do not carry marketing. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of service. Reply STOP at any time and these texts stop.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your own activity and on the program.
- Review Requests: exactly one message. This is not a recurring or scheduled program, it does not send a series, and Buzzmax does not send a reminder.
- Missed-Call Reply: at most one message per six hours, only after a call you placed to the business went unanswered.
- Invoice Reminders: at most one reminder before an invoice is due, never more than one payment reminder in 7 days, and one receipt per payment.
- Appointment Reminders and Job Status Updates: message frequency varies with your appointments and visits. You receive them only for the types you opted in to, and only for a business you have a relationship with.
- Messaging: a reply-only conversation, capped at a few replies for each text you send and at a handful of messages to you per day in total. It only happens after you text first, is sent between 9am and 8pm in your own local time, and stops if you go too long without texting back.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Buzzmax does not charge consumers anything. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to your own plan.
5. How you came to receive a message
You receive a review request because you were a customer of the business and it provided your number to send it. You receive a missed-call reply because you called the business's published number yourself and the call was not answered. You also receive an appointment, invoice or service visit text only if you opted in for that type, either on the form on this page or in writing with the business as described in section 2a, and only for the types you chose. We do not buy, rent, or scrape phone numbers, and we do not message anyone who has not contacted or transacted with the business.
6. How to stop
Reply STOP to any message. We also honour STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT. Opting out is immediate, and in no event later than ten business days. It applies to the number that texted you and to every Buzzmax program that sends from that number. If you receive texts from another number, reply STOP to that number too. Reply START to opt back in.
7. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message and you will get a reply with how to reach us. You can also email team@buzzmax.ai or call (434) 204-8956.
8. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Sending hours
Review requests are sent between 9am and 8pm in your own local time, never on a Sunday, and never on a federal or Utah state holiday. A missed-call reply is a response to a call you just placed, so it is sent when you call. A Messaging reply is sent only between 9am and 8pm in your own local time, and only after you have texted the business first. Invoice reminders and receipts are sent between 9am and 8pm in your own local time, never on a Sunday, and never on a federal or Utah state holiday.
10. Privacy
Your number is used to send these messages, to honour opt-outs, to support you, and to prove consent. It is not used for marketing, it is not sold, and it is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. When you use the opt-in form on this page, we record your phone number, the business you named, the choices you ticked, the exact wording shown, the version of that wording, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user agent, so that we can show that you consented. That record is used to send only the messages you chose and to prove consent. We do not use it to market to you and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail, and our Terms of Service.
