FAQ

Questions people actually ask

How the texting works, what it costs, and what we will and will not do about a bad review. If your question is not here, email team@buzzmax.ai.

How does review request texting work?

You upload your customers and Buzzmax sends each of them the same review request by text from your own number, with the review link already in it. Every recipient gets the same message and the same public review link, whatever we expect them to say. Messages are sent only between 8am and 9pm in the recipient's local time, and never on a Sunday or a legal holiday.

Do you filter out unhappy customers before asking for a review?

No. Selective solicitation is deceptive under section 5 of the FTC Act and breaches Google's review policy, so we do not do it and we will not configure it on request. Everyone gets the same invitation. A customer who selects a low rating is offered a private note to the business and the public review link side by side, and chooses for themselves.

How much does Buzzmax cost?

Texting is $150 a month for 50 customers a week. Reviews is $349 a month and adds scheduled profile posts and replies written and posted on every review. Managed is quoted per location. All are month to month with no setup fee.

How much does negative review removal cost?

It is quoted per review, because what a removal takes depends on the platform the review sits on and how old it is. We look at the specific review and send a fixed quote before any work starts. The fee is contingent on removal: if the review stays up, you owe nothing. There is no deposit, no retainer and no charge for the assessment.

Can you guarantee a review will be removed?

No. The platform decides whether a review comes down, not Buzzmax. We have no special relationship with any platform and no ability to escalate outside its public process. That is exactly why the fee is contingent on removal.

How do you remove a review?

We assess the review against the platform's own published content policy and file a removal request only where we have identified and recorded a specific ground it appears to breach, such as the reviewer never having been a customer, a conflict of interest, off-topic content or harassment. We never post false reviews, never offer anything of value to a reviewer, and do not report a review as false without a reasonable basis.

Which platforms do you cover?

Reviews are collected and monitored from Google, Yelp, BBB, Facebook, Trustpilot and ConsumerAffairs. Review requests point at Google, Facebook or Trustpilot depending on what you choose. Removal quotes are available for Google, Facebook, Trustpilot and ConsumerAffairs.

What kind of businesses is Buzzmax for?

Local service businesses that live on their reputation: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing and other home services, auto repair, dental and med spa practices, restaurants and catering, legal and finance firms, and real estate agents and teams.

What happens if a removed review comes back?

If a removed review reappears within 30 days of the verification date, we refile once at no additional charge and the fee is refunded in full.
