Someone whose furnace quit overnight may call several companies in a row and book the first one that gets back to them. If you are in an attic or on a roof, you are not that company, unless the call still gets an answer of some kind.
With Buzzmax, a call to your texting number rings through to your phone. When you miss it, the caller gets a text with your booking link. If they text back, their reply goes to your phone.
Hi, this is [Company]. Sorry we missed your call. You can pick a time here: [booking link], or reply with what is going on and we will get back to you. Reply STOP to opt out.
The text carries your business name and your booking link. It does not book the job for you, and it does not replace answering the phone when you can.
Setup, in plain steps
- You get a texting number. Calls to it ring through to your phone, so it is the number you would want customers to use.
- Texting needs a registration with the carriers for your business. That currently takes 10 to 15 days. Until it clears, the text comes from Buzzmax's number with your business name in it. After it clears, it comes from your own number.
- When a call goes unanswered, the caller gets the text. Their reply is texted to your phone.
It starts once your texting number is set up, not on the day you sign. We will tell you where it stands.
Plumbers, electricians and roofers
The same setup works for any trade where the customer calls first and the technician is busy: plumbing, electrical, roofing, garage doors. Put your booking link in the text and keep the wording short.
What it does not do
- It does not answer the call or talk to the caller.
- It does not promise any number of booked jobs. Whether a caller books depends on them, your schedule and your link.
- It is not on the Texting plan. Missed call text back is Growth and up.
